Bio and Reviews:

Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Chloe Nightingale first joined the electronic scene in 1998 when a college friend asked her to join his digital hardcore band. Chloe decided to go solo in early 2001 after a brief stint with her pop band, Wall Candy.

Fall 2002 brought the release of her debut album, "Extra Terrestrials were Dismayed by Art," where Chloe's diverse vocal styles and unique, complex programming move through different styles of electronic music.

Chloe has done vocals and programming for several artists, including Kirkendahl Voyd, Generic You, Klexius, and Red Sky Radio. She plays bass for the doo-wop band, The Faint of Heart and sousaphone for artist Robert Ritchie's performance-art band, Dickhead & The Viagra Girls.

She is due to appear on the Justin Van Brackle Tribute Album, "The Little Domain that Could" compilation (with other artists including Secret Chiefs 3, Drums and Tuba, and Dalek), and the Altaira Records Winter Compilation (with other artists including The Causey Way, Captured! By Robots, Japanic, and Man Made Brain). Chloe also appears on the SynthCleveland Compilation CDs "Foundation" and "Freemasonic Fish Fry."

"...In the mold of Björk, Massive Attack, the Aphex Twin and Tricky." -- Portland Tribune

"Chloe is one of those truly fun, energetic glowing people. Impressively eccentric, she reminds me of a combination of Thomas Dolby, Laurie Anderson and Lori Petty all rolled up and smashed into one. Chloe is a very talented musician..." -- studio3dom.com

"A total diamond in the rough. Awesome lo-fi beats sported by a Roland sp-808 and mc-303. Some pre-recorded synth-scapes - like lounge music in 2012.
Even some live synth chops (i think it was a korg dw-6000 and Juno 106). All of this was highlighted by Chloe's brilliant reverbed-out vocals. Passionate, well-plotted, emotional songs not unllike Bjork and Portishead. All done via Chloe in impish costume. Marvelous and refreshing! Must see!" -- SynthCleveland.com

"Chloe:Galvanic sounds like Enya on controlled substances, like crack or maybe some bad acid. Don't let this keep you away, though, as this chameleon-haired demon can synth with the best of them. 'Lisa Has Lost' has taken up permanent residence looping through my brain; it has shades of the Eurythmics. The other songs on her debut CD are also an entertaining romp though Chloe's mind, so sit back and enjoy." -Cat Candles & Glass
