The Crabby Crafter presents: Stuff you will need: 1. (1) 100g/200m hank Fleece Artist Kid Silk 2 PlyGauge: 20 sts x 20 rows of sc = 4" (10 cm) Finished Size: Circumference of finished headband is about 21". Will fit most adult heads. Like I said, fiddle with the pattern if you want a different size. US Pattern convention used. Abbreviations used in this pattern: St: stitchWide Bobble Headband Ch 13. Row 1. Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each st across, turn. (11 sts) Row 2-6. Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each st across, turn. Row 7. Ch 1 (does not count as st), sc in each dc across, ch 1, turn. Row 8. Sc in first st, *work 2 sc in next st, sc in next st,* rep from * to * across, ch 1, turn. (16 sts) Row 9. Bo in first st, *sc in each of next 2 sts, bo in next st,* rep from * to * across, ch 1, turn. (16 sts, 6 of which are bobbles) Row 10. Sc in each st across, ch 1, turn. Rows 11-15. Repeat Rows 9-10 (last row worked will be a bobble row). Row 16. Sc in first st, *work 2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts,* rep from * to * across, ch 1, turn. (21 sts) Row 17. Bo in first st, *sc in each of next 3 sts, bo in next st,* rep from * to * across, ch 1, turn. (21 sts, 6 of which are bobbles) Row 18. Sc in each st across, ch 1, turn. Rows 19-21. Repeat Rows 59-60 (last row worked will be a bobble row). Row 64. Sc in first st, *sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in each of next 2 sts,* rep from * to * across, ch 1, turn. (16 sts) Row 65. Bo in first st, *sc in each of next 2 sts, bo in next st,* rep from * to * across, ch 1, turn. (16 sts, 6 of which are bobbles) Row 66. Sc in each st across, ch 1, turn. Rows 67-71. Repeat Rows 65-66 (last row worked will be a bobble row). Row 72. Sc in first st, *sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in next st,* rep from * to * across, ch 1, turn. (11 sts) Row 73. Sc in each st across, turn. Row 74-79. Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each st across, turn. Fold in half width-wise and seam (sl st on wrong side of work or sew) to form headband. Fasten off. (16 sts) Row 5. Bo in first st, *sc in each of next 2 sts, bo in next st,* rep from * to * across, ch 1, turn. (16 sts, 6 of which are bobbles) Row 6. Sc in each st across, ch 1, turn. Repeat Rows 5 - 6 until work measures about 18.5". Note: Last row worked should be a bobble row. Row 7. Sc in first st, *sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in next st,* rep from * to * across, ch 1, turn. (11 sts) Row 8. Sc in each st across, turn. Row 9. Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each st across, turn. Repeat Row 9 for 2" or until you have the same number of dc rows on this end of the work as you have on the beginning. Work should measure about 21". Fold in half width-wise and seam (sl st on wrong side of work or sew) to form headband. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
